We all have different lifestyle, routine, hobbies, living situations — so how much we have, why we keep certain things, our process naturally will be different

For example, I was living by myself, so I had pretty simple home that only made sense to me. However in recent weeks, I moved in with my partner. So we are in transitioning period of making choices together about everything that we co-own.

However, I have come to the realization that each day we are one day closer to death and I for one to not want to live a life of holding back. I want to live a fulfilling life. One where I can say I was true, I was authentic, I pushed myself, and I loved loudly. So here I am, doing something that is kind of uncomfortable: writing and being vulnerable for my many many subscribers. Just kidding haha. Still scary to put my feelings on the internet, even if no one sees them.

It’s cliche but the phrase “if you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything” comes to mind. Having a personal code of conduct, goals, standards gives you guidance when you feel lost in the pace of the modern world we inhabit. This world doesn’t make a lot of sense to an ever growing sector of people and having clear parameters for yourself will help you navigate the right path through it.

What should my manifesto look like?

Ultimately how you do this is up to you! It’s your manifesto.

  • You could write a list in an app you use so it’s easy to refer to on the go
  • You could have a special notebook where you create the list and then reflect on how you are living versus what your personal guidelines…
